The journey on relaxation exercise was very interesting. My computer is in my living room, so I plugged in my headset and laid down on the floor to participate in the exercise. I was very apprehensive at first because I have a problem relaxing more times than not. As the exercise progressed, I felt myself letting go some of that control and trying to make myself relax. There were times where I tensed up, but as he eased into the next statement it helped alleviate my tension. The explanations after the techniques helped as well. He was letting me know that blood was going to flow more frequently as this point and that I was not going to feel like I was able to move at this point in time. I can say that I have been battling with a stress headache since last night. I finally had to break down and take something for it. Nothing has helped, but after this exercise I am headache free. I am almost to the point of tears because I could not get this headache to go away, I was scared for a moment of time. I feel much better, and I may start using this regiment to help when these types of headaches occur.
Welcome to Mantra of Healing

I have never had a blog, or even had anything to blog about. I know that this experience from this class will probably change that. I have a hard time relaxing, so through my experience of relaxation in healing myself will in turn help you as well. This is a journey for all of us, and I am happy to share my experiences with those of my classmates. I hope to learn from myself, and from each one of my classmates. I want to leave you with this quote: “If you wish to experience peace, provide peace for another”. – Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama.
